Gas chromatograph instruments containing radioactive source materials:
The radioactive source material must be dismantled before return. The removal must be carried out by trained PerkinElmer Service Engineers. The instrument gas chromatograph disposal will follow the Take back solution by country.
Electron Capture Detectors :
In the event of a return, the source must be accompanied by the following documents:
- Declaration of Decontamination
- Leak test not less than 6 months
Please contact licensingaes.eu@perkinelmer.com instructions will be sent to you to organize the collection, recycling and recovery.
When you contact PerkinElmer, please include
- Your name, email and telephone
- The location of the ECD to be collected, owner of the source
- Information on the ECD to be collected: serial number
PerkinElmer will contact you using the details you have provided to arrange next steps for collection.
